1: Pricing
1.1: Pricing will always be determined on how long the project will take, what it is for, how complex it is and what medium(s) it will be in.
2.1: PLEASE NOTE, pricing will always be considerably higher if client is wanting to OWN COPYRIGHT of the work along with the license to the work. Tilt House will always handle projects under license terms (See 5.1-5.4) apart from very specific situations.
3.1: Pricing will be handled accordingly on the start of the enquiry to come to an agreement on how the work is going to be licensed BEFORE any work occurs on the project.
2: Deadlines
2.1: Once agreement on licensing is complete, the studio will then work with client on agreement for a specified date for which the work must be completed by.
2.2: If the design MAY take longer than agreed to due to circumstances beyond the studio's control, the client will be IMMEDIATELY contacted to arrange a new date.
2.3: If the design MAY take longer than agreed to due to circumstances beyond the client's control, the client must IMMEDIATELY contact the studio to arrange a new date.
2.3: Please note that larger projects of course will take longer than smaller/simpler projects.
3: Payment
3.1: The client will be sent an invoice for the first 50% of fee and the client MUST pay 50% of fee BEFORE work commences. This is to cover expenses for time, supplies and labour. The client has up to 30 days to pay from the the date the invoice was sent to pay and will be reflected in the deadline specified for the completion of the work.
3.2: If payment is later than 30 days specified on the invoice, no design work will take place until the first 50% of the fee is paid REGARDLESS of the deadline. If this does occur, a new deadline will be agreed between the studio and client.
3.3: The client MUST pay the remaining of said fee AFTER the design is complete. This is to cover expense for time, supplies and labour. The client has up to 30 days to pay from the date of the invoice was sent.
3.4: If payment is later than 30 days specified on the invoice, an added 10% will be placed on the TOTAL FEE for the project PER MONTH dated on the invoice until all payment is collected. This is non negotiable.
4: Process
4.1: Once payment has been received, the studio will then supply THREE ROUGH DESIGNS for singular designs, THREE VARIATIONS for sequential work. Once a design/sequence is chosen, the studio will start working on the final piece.
4.2: Once the design is FINISHED the client will be IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED through preferred method finalised by the client.
4.3: A maximum of ONE REVISION is allowed FREE OF CHARGE and a new date shall be agreed for completion. Any further revisions will consist of added fees which will be negotiated by the studio and client.
4.3: Once work completion has been confirmed with the client and the last payment has gone through, the client will be sent a high resolution file of the final work.
5: License & Copyright
5.1: The studio reserves the right to use the work as they see fit for promotional purposes even if copyrights are owned by client.
5.2: Licensing of the work will ALWAYS DEPEND on the requirements of the client and this will be negotiated at the beginning of the enquiry.
5.3: License of work allows client to use the work for their specified cause but DOES NOT grant FULL COPYRIGHT of the work.
5.4: FULL COPYRIGHT will always belong to Tilt House Studios Ltd unless specified.
